Julie:
I quite agree with you. Rickman's Snape seemed merely annoyed
rather than the bitter, menacing character Snape is in the books.
Dare I say Snape and Harry sounded almost like exasperated father
and petulant son in the brief snippet? (And I'm not trying to make
any predictions here ;-)

Still, it was a very brief snippet, and it wasn't a line that I
even recall being in the book (Harry: I am not weak! Snape:
Then prove it!)? So I have some hope there will be a little
more menace in Snape and actual acrimony visible between them
during the rest of the scene, especially once Harry peers into the
pensieve.

Alas, Snape also looked really OLD in this scene (my apologies
to Rickman, but he has reached his sixties now I believe). Oh,
well, the books are the books and the movies are the movies.
Still, I'll always love Rickman's voice!

Julie, advising everyone that even without the OotP preview
"Happy Feet" is well worth the ticket price--even if you're
not going to the matinee showing!
