Hi. I apologize for discussing the movies in this thread but I wanted
to add my two knuts to Sherry's comment. As she says, that article was
referring to GoF.  The article stating that the Dursleys wouldn't be
in OOTP was incorrect. Some scenes have already been filmed.  Leaky
posted images that showed the cast and crew filming the Dementor scene
at the beginning of OOTP. The pictures show Harry and Dudley running
from the Dementors.(I haven't seen any scenes with Vernon and
Petunia). The part about no Quidditch is correct though. No room for
it. The book is huge and from interviews with some of the cast and the
director it seems they are trying to emphasize all the emotional stuff
going on and the darker tone of the book; as well as, the cruelty of
Umbridge. In case you haven't yet seen it, Leaky has a lot of info on
the film that you might enjoy reading.
