I so agree with you, Kemper. One summer I managed to get through Fellowship of the Ring but was so bored I didn't have the energy to start the next one. I doubt that I will; I've too many books in my to-be-read stacks (yes, that's a plural).

Among my faves are His Dark Materials, Artemis Fowl, The Wayfarer Redemption series by Sara Douglass, and George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice, and Jonathon Strange and Dr. Morrell. My TV faves are all the Star Trek series except Enterprise (I just couldn't get into it), Stargate to name the two which immediately come to mind.

To bring this back to the subject, I think Cuaron is actually the one who killed DD. After all Kloves 'knew' what DD was like; he did write the scripts for the first two movies. And look what he did to poor Filius!! Too bad Newell felt he had to continue those images. I wonder if Cuaron tried to mess with Snape's image and AR told him to go to 'heck'? lol

Oh God, it's years since I played the villain. I haven't played a baddie for ages.
