Haven't been to the site recently...but if his birth date is infact 1936
that makes him only 70 this year.

Subject: [HPFGU-OTChatter] Latest wizard of the month on JKR website and
related thought
I am sure that by now everybody saw the latest wizard of the month
on website ( it had been there several days, I think) Too funny, I
should say. :)
Hambledon Quince
1936 - present
Author of controversial theory that wizards originate from Mars,
Muggles from mushrooms.
But what I am thinking about is the age of this wizard or more like
the fact that he is still living. Do you think that the fact that
JKR sort of extends the timeline of wizards life in the present time
( after the books timeline) may mean that wizarding world survives
the war intact, as a whole I mean?
The previous wizard of the month ( cleaning guru - too lasy to check
her name) also seemed to live beyond the books timeline.
Does it mean something that JKR thinks of them in present time? Is
this speculation valid at all?
Alla.
