I, too, was surprised at the lack of discussion - I looked here 
earlier in my desperation to find out how get the key to open the 
drawer properly (if anyone else is stuck, there's a screenshot on 
Mugglenet that shows the correct positioning of the key).

I know the intro said we would need to make "intelligent guesses," but 
on most of the questions, I was at a loss as to how to even take a 
stab at guessing.
