My copy of "The Half-Blood Prince" broke within days of starting it. DH is holding up well, but I havent re-read it yet.

Has anyone heard of problems with the bindings on some of the US hardbacks of DH? I know my copy is fine but it would seem the quality control on some batches are not up to par.

Sandy:

We sell the book where I work. None have been returned because of problems with the spines, but several have been returned because they are missing 30 pages at the end of the book. That must have been a real bite. No one I know personally has had any problems with their books but there are defective ones out there.
