The OP (americanhosttour) identified him/herself as Wiccan and then 
specifically said "OUR ancient" traditions. To my eye, that's a pretty 
explicit claim, no inference required :-). Changing "Wiccan" to "pagan" 
would make for a better (though still debatable) argument.

I also read the OP ("come from") as a claim to ownership. In fact, our 
modern Christmas traditions are a pastische of traditions far too 
complex for any single ownership claim. Saying "most modern Christian 
traditions have pagan elements" would make for an argument undeniable 
even by me :-).
