What's wrong with "Merry Christmas"?

OK. Here is what I think the bottom line is in the debate.

Some of you live in big cities like New York and there are Jewish 
people and Wiccan and who ever else has a holiday in December. I see 
the point of saying "Happy Holiday in a place like that. It makes 
sense. But for the rest of us in the Midwest or other parts of the 
coutry where there is not a big population of other religions, or in 
some cases, no one of any other religion, it is not logical, but 
people are doing it anyway. And why? Because we are exposed to other 
ideas on the TV and internet, etc. 

I just think that you folks in "them, there" big cities don't know how 
it is out here in Mid_America. ;-)
