If you went with Amazon and still wanted to give Chapters a try, you
should still be able. When HBP came out, I changed my order 3 times
(one of those times being to cancel the order totally) before deciding
on the deluxe edition - that's the nice thing about Amazon, being able
to change your mind. (As with some online companies, Amazon doesn't
charge you anything until they send you the book, which is why you're
going to be able to "fix" your order for the next few months.)
By the way, is anyone playing the wait game like me and waiting to see
if there may be an extra special super-deluxe version coming out due
to it being the 7th book? (I'm probably not going to pre-order until
March, as with last time.)

Jeremiah:
I'm actually staying away from online ordering this time around, but I do
want a copy of the UK paperbacks and the shop I will be getting my US
edition from ('cause I'm in the US) will get the UK for me, too.
Last time I ordered from Amazon (both the US and UK sites) they had a
preliminary page to order the "unnamed book 6" and then when they made the
permanent HBP site I was told that there had been an error (on both the UK
and US sites) and my order wasn't there anymore, I had to re-order, yadda,
yadda, yadda... So I did and I ended up with 4 copies fo the book. It was
rather expensive, seeing as how I had to pay twice for shipping from the US
and then twice from the UK, not to mention for 4 copies of the book... and
for those who have trouble with math, that's twive the amount I was
intending to pay. :) Such joy.
So, this time around I'm doing it "old-school" and forgoing the High Tech
approach, learning to be patient and letting someone else order the book for
me. Then I have somewhere to go instead of furthering any possible
early-stage-agorophobia and just sitting on my
alread-eversized-need-to-work-out-a-bit-more tush and have the UPS guy leave
it on my doorstep 'cause I'm in the middle of my mallowmars and can't be
bothered to get up and greet someone. Once that hardback is on my grubby
little hands I'm going with friends to a coffee shop or 24 hour restaurant
and not resurfacing until I've got that thing read! (Then a breath... then
some nap-time and I'll probably re-read it before the UK edition comes...
after that I assume a complete 3-ring-circus will occur in my head and it's
off and running on a re-read of the entire series).'
But, I digress. I will just be ordering from my friendly local-bookstore. ;)
Sorry, Amazon. I can't afford to trust you again. LOL. Literally...
