[HPFGU-OTChatter] Ordering UK version to be sent to US - advice?

Hi Ali... thanks so much for the response.
 
I have a few Deluxe versions myself... I just wanted to know if it was
really worth it to purchase the UK versions.
 
Anyone know how to get all the longer versions of the movies... like when
you watch them on TBS or something they include scenes that aren't in the
movie releases... just curious..

Look, Michelle lives in my [general] area!! (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Anyway, as far as I can tell and if I recall correctly, there's no
different in the adult and children versions in the UK, only that the
covers don't look the same. In the US, there are different editions
of the same book, but the actually content is, again, the same; the
covers are also the same, but things like the deluxe edition has
larger versions of the tiny sketches featured atop each chapter
announcement as well as a more substantial enclosure to hold the
hardbound copy. If you're only worried about content, you can buy any
version and get the same thing, except for the whole "fixing of the
Flints" that happen between first and second issues. (And just to be
totally obvious, there are differences between the US & UK versions,
but as Steve says, the differences are much less in the later books
than the older ones.)
