I have to agree with Eggplant and Jeremiah as well. I don't
consider myself a Christian, and while I find parts in the bible
interesting and useful, I can't bring myself to agree with every
little bit in it.
Some of the things some of the "godly" men do are outright
frightening and far worse than what Voldemort did, in my opinion.
How can a man who knows love (like David) not be held accountable
for murder (Uriah the Hittite) while his unborn child by Uriah's
wife (Bathsheba) be forfit because of David's crime?
as for Chairman Mao... maybe his beliefs worked for China, maybe
they didn't, but they don't work for most of the Western world,
and never will.
