If you are viewing the link on-line, that is, in the
group it should work. However, if you are viewing it
in your own email program, it is possible the you
email viewer is set to Wrap long lines, which means
a carriage return has been inserted into the link.
Reply to the post with the link, and pull the broken
pieces together into one long line, then copy and
paste the link into your browser.
The link above worked for me.
As to the main subject, I do like the book illustrations
because they are correct enough to give me a feel for
the characters and the chapters, but the are /off/
enough that they don't dictate the characters.
I have my own vision of Snape, and Mary Grandpre's
illustration don't interfer with that. Yet, the
do give a quick and easy sense of a book or a chapter.
If she tried to capture the characters too well, I
think they would either severly conflict with my own
vision, or the would start to infiltrate my vision
of the character. So, as they are, I am very
satisfied with them.
