I had my own problems with my body as far as being timid, embarrassed.
Then I got cancer.
When you get that, your idea of the body changes dramatically.
I never saw my body as disgusting, until I got cancer.
I had bowel cancer and ended up with a bag hanging from my side
which collected waste.
Suddenly I had an entirely new outlook on the body, although I was
never offended by other peoples nudity.
The bag is temporary, and I appear to be clear of cancer now...
so the bag may come off, although I am not the same as I was in
different reguards.
There was a documentary on a place in Australia called Nimbin.
This is where "hippies" hang out.
There was a scene where a naked man walked to the corner shop to
buy milk, and I thought that it would be nice if life could be
like that.
However there are practical reasons why people wear clothes.
They stop sunburn, or keep out the cold since the human body is
very poorly "designed" [a term I use loosely as I believe in evolution]
And clothes keep insects off us too.
They're also pretty, they help convey to others who we are or
what we like.
Nudity is not always a practical thing for our species.
I suppose the right reaction to a nude person should be
"Aren't you cold?"
