Last thirty minutes of OoP (no spoilers!)

I may be posting to the wrong list here, but I have a reason--I
haven't seen the film and am avoiding the movie list for fear of
spoilers (things that the film does differently from the book).

I just want to ask anyone who's seen it if it's true that the last
thirty minutes are in 3-D and whether special goggles are provided.
(Back in ancient times--the 1960s(?)--when I tried to view a movie
through goggles, they didn't fit properly over my glasses and I
couldn't see a thing.) Also, are goggles required for "the IMAX
experience" and do they fit over glasses? (I'm far-sighted, which
requires me to sit near the back of the theater, if that makes a
difference.)

Carol, hoping she doesn't sound stupid because she's not up-to-date on
film technology
