Totally do
I didnt go last night
kicking myself a little over that
the
bits I saw on the news looked fun
Im excited but scared
I want a happy ending
I want harry to be happy
.
Im waiting on the mailman
but dont know if Ill start reading it
for most
of what you said
I enjoy many different types of books
but Im in love with
Harry Potters world. I want to be a part of it
I want it to be real
Glad to have other adults who are as emotionally vested as I am
.
Have a great day!

Subject: [HPFGU-OTChatter] Putting off reading DH because I can't stand to
have it all end
I have the book in front of me, right here, and have not started it
(OK, I read the first page, but that's it). I am too afraid that my
life will change once I read the final book, because I won't have
another book to look forward to. I'm too afraid that the miracles HP
has brought into my life - knowing I'm a part of something, fanfic,
slash, etc. - will go away after everyone reads this book. I know
rationally that HP fanfic will continue to be written for a long time,
and the conventions will probably only grow. Probably it's just
superstition on my part - if I don't read the final book then somehow
I'll stave off the dying-away of the fandom. But here I sit, looking
at it, not knowing when I'll open it up. Does anyone else relate to this?
