My copy of DH which was ordered several months ago, should be safely resting in my office,
as the delivery had to have come earlier this morning. Although I still visited some opening
sights I was comfortable with the thought that I can put off reading it at least until Monday.
By the way, if anyone was at the scholastic event in NY, would know that on the line to take
your picture with the cover of DH they blasted a part of the book over the loud speakers, and
I can only imagine how silly I looked, 28 and nearly 6 ft tall, clenching my ears among the 6
year-olds standing in line.... Back to point, right. So as I casually strolled into my local
brooklyn duane reede this evening to buy some headache medicine, I caught a glimpse of a
disturbing sight. Just there a few feet away from my grasp, there the books were, in a black
display box marked 10% off. What has this world come to when on opening day they just sit
there, unwanted, for all to see. Are there no children who read in my neighborhood? None
who would give eup all their pokemans for a chance to hold it in their hands? I don't know
why but this was too sad to indure. So I did it, I rescued one from that silly display and could
barely make it home fast enough to read. Oh Lord someone stop me.
