Yes, it was authentic. I did a search for it and read  it of my own free will 
two days before the book was released. I don't mind being  spoiled and had 
intended to read the last chapter first anyway. I just got a  jump start on it. 
When I read it I wasn't sure if it was real though. Had to  wait to get my 
book to find out. It was.
 
Carol, I am very much looking forward to hearing  everything you have to say 
about the book when the main list reopens on Tuesday.  I thought about you at 
a certain point in the book. Can't wait to hear your take  on it.

P.S.  I did refrain from reading the NY Times  review. I totally agree with 
the ethics of it, and I didn't want to be too  spoiled.
