bboyminn:

Found an interesting article that is somewhat related to
what we are discussing.

Jack Wild, the actor appeared who in the movie musical
"Oliver!" died March 1 in England after a battle with
mouth cancer. He was 53.

Discovered while playing soccer with Phil Collins by
Collins' mother, a talent agent, he was a millionaire by
18 and an alcoholic by 21.

...admitted that he spent much of his adult life "in an
alcoholic haze" until giving up drinking in 1989.

Regretting how his fast rise to stardom contributed to
his addictive tendencies, he worked with the former
child actors' group A Minor Consideration, and wrote an
open letter to "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe
cautioning against the risks of young stardom.

Like I said, most lottery winners are bankrupt in five
years. Being rich and young is no guarantee of a lifetime
of success. You need some method of on-going achievement
and satisfiying accomplishment.

The wealth of the Harry Potter kids has just as much of
a chance of dooming them as it does of being their
salvation. Actually, the chances for doom are probably
greater.

So, I wish them well, and hope they find ways to find
satisfaction and accomplishment in their lives. One way
I think Rupert could improve his chances is Stand-up
Comedy even if it is only a diversion to improve his
skills in front of a crowd.

Just passing it along.
