recently the Leaky Cauldron posted some link to Ramdon
House which has samples of the Audio Books for each of
the Harry Potter books.

A lot of people have spoken very positively about Jim
Dale's reading of the book, but I found his cadence,
inflection, or rythm to be a bit off, especially on his
dialog.
I mean, he does a good job, he has a clear voice, but
his dialog just doesn't quite seem to fit the mood.
So, I'm wondering if there are any audio samples of
Stephen Fry on the Internet anywhere, so I can
compare them. I did look on the website of the UK
publisher and also Amazon.ca, but couldn't find any.
I think it might give the books a nice flavor for them
to be read by a British person.
Also, does anyone know if UK Audio CD's will play on
USA audio equipment?
Just curious.
