Sharon, you're in metro Detroit?  So am I !!  I'm on the West sid of Dearborn to be exact.

You're kind of putting it mildly when you say it doesn't get "opressively hot" here much.  We finally had to break down and buy a solar panel to try to heat the water for our 4' deep pool.  The solar cover wasn't doing the job and we're tired of not using the pool because it's too cold.  Wish us luck that it works.

We sure had a beautiful one yesterday though, didn't we?  75 degrees!  Of course, today it's supposed to be back down to 50 again. <sigh>

Sure beats the Summers in Florida, though.  Talk about "opressive heat"!

To keep this somewhat on topic, July can't come soon enough for me.  I have visions of me sitting in my favorite chair on the porch devouring the final book.  Fortunately, my husband and daughter are well trained to know to just leave me alone when I've got my nose in one of the HP books.  It's kind of a "bother me and die!" kind of thing ...
