No it doesn't. Deleting messages on the group site will lead to gaps
in the message numbers on the group site, but it will not lead to
gaps in the numbering of daily digests. Once a message has been sent
to a Yahoo!Group, that message will be included in the daily digests
sent out to those of the group's members that subscribe to daily
digests, regardless of whether it has been deleted on the group site.
If there are unexplained gaps in the numbering sequence for daily
digests, either Yahoo!Groups is having problems sending e-mail, the
daily digests are getting lost en route to your mail box, or your e-
mail provider is not processing e-mail from Yahoo!Groups (not
normally a problem for Yahoo!Mail).
