Magpie:
I wouldn't go that far. I mean, I can't imagine why people would be 
thrilled about it. She had a single gay character and she left him 
out of the book for some reason. Why should they be praising her for 
that as leaders of the lesbian and gay community when this way of 
handling a gay character is actually a throwback? It just seems a 
bit much to say "nothing is ever good enough" about somebody not 
putting any gay characters in their series.
