Wait, huh? It's hard to get a cup of hot tea in America? 

Because I've never been to a restaurant or a deli where I live where 
you couldn't get hot tea, often of different types. Though granted 
not all places sell loose tea (though you can get it). But tea as a 
beverage is as common as coffee.
