I know that different sounds can stimulate different brain wave 
patterns. I have found with my clients in group therapy that they 
all liked the Alpha patterns, but felt very uncomfortable when their 
Thata was stimulated. Which makes sense, since Alpha is a peaceful 
metative state and theta is the sort of restless state just before 
sleep where weird images come up.
