Debra:

I myself am appalled at the number of e-mails on this one subject. I
know a great deal of gay and lesbian couples that are truly wonderful
loving and caring people. I would have no problems leaving my 11 year
old son with any of them.  As a parent I think it is important to
teach him the meaning of acceptance of the person. And yes I did
find that one scene heart wrenching. I don't know what I would do
if something happened to my son.
