OK - why is the th in Anthony pronounced "th", where Thomas is pronounced
"t"?  You can't imagine how strange it is for a Brit to hear Americans
talking about AnTHony Hopkins...  Oh yes, and Bernard is prounced berNARD,
where Leonard is pronounced LEnnud, and leopard as LEpud.  In England, a St
Bernard dog is BERnud...
