bboyminn:

I was listening to testimony before the 9-11 commission
and a committee member asked about the
'potentialization' of something, when what he really
meant was simply 'potential'.

This is sort of a form of 'word inflation'. When a
simple word doesn't sound grand enough, you simply
make it more complicated.

So, it's not really word inflation, it's word
inflationalization.

Ain't life grand, or perhaps, I should say,
ain't life grandilizated.
