Granted, 'bowdlerise' has been around for a while but it wasn't in the 
list quoted in the post I was reading. 

Don't forget that that is an unusual one because it is formed from 
someone's name, so the ending is probably a requirement. It can go 
in the miscellaneous box along with 'boycott', 'maverick'. 'gerrymander' 
et al.
