Maybe you need a new video card? Or it could be the settings. How old
a computer and which operating system (Windows version) do you have
(assuming that it's not a Mac)?

Do you know how to get into Device Manager to see if the device
(monitor, video card, or whatever) is working properly?

Carol, who has Windows XP but still remembers, sort of, where to look
for stuff in Windows 98
