I don't remember if it was Kloves in the first two movies as well or
not, but I must say that all this started in CoS, actually. Ron's
explanations about "mudbloods" were taken away from him and split
between Hermione and Hagrid. Also, his line "hearing voices no one else
can hear isn't a good sign, even in the wizarding world" were given to
Hermione (again!). It's in this movie that they started
the "clownization" of Ron :-).
