Is it fair to our new members (Carol Lynn and the new Steve) to
provide spoilers without a warning? neither of them has read the
books. (I can see providing info from the first five books that wasn't
included in the film versions, but we're ruining the movies for them
by telling them so much.)

To Carol Lynn and new Steve: You're missing out by not reading the
books! The first three might take you all of a week to read. You can
read the entire set in a month or less by reading just a few hours a
night.

Carol, seconding zanooda in suggesting the movie list rather than OT
or the main list for members who haven't read the books and noting
that they'll encounter spoilers even there
