And yet, there's nothing like reading the bad stuff to help you 
understand what makes the good stuff good stuff.

The "author" will never know, and I'll feel better.

Tifany:

Some of Brooks stuff can be difficult to read, but easily the worst 
was the book for the movie "The Last Boy Scout".  It was one of the 
few times that the movie was better than the book was, I didn't even 
keep the book for more than a few months & was glad to get it off my 
shelf for good.
