Geoff:
Well... no... rather that the House of Tudor was a result of the  
Houses of York and Lancaster being linked through Elizabeth of 
York marriage connection. Though I personally support the
wearing of a red rose, having been brought up until the age of 9 
on the west side of the Pennines.
