I'm sure you'll think that I'm a philistine for saying so, but I don't
care for truffles--too big and too strong-flavored. I got some Harry
and David truffles for Christmas, along with the world's most luscious
pears, scrumptious smoked salmon, and other delicacies. They didn't
thrill me, somehow.
