That sounds good in theory - but, the only groups that will benefit from
that are A) Lawyers and B) Producers - in that order. When there's only
one contract for all the writers, one for all the directors, one for all
the actors, etc - the same terms apply to everyone, and there's more
eyes on it and it can be fair etc. When each person is signing their own
contract it's easier for the producers - which are the big business, to
slip things by, and of course more contracts means more lawyers to write
the contracts.
