Thanks, Kemper. Now I know for sure that I want nothing to do wtih
either the film or the books.
Carol, wondering why Eowyn doesn't count as a strong female character
in LOTR, even if she does end up becoming a healer and, heaven
forfend, marrying the wise and gentle Faramir (who can nevertheless
wield a sword as needed)
