Kemper now:
A decade ago, I was working one-on-one with this average 16 year old
kid. He asked me what the date was. I told him it was the last day
in February (on a non-leap year). With all sincerity, he asked, "The
thirty-second?"

I left the room quickly, so as not to embarrass him with my tears of
laughter. I know that sounds mean, but if you don't laugh, despair
sets in.
