I could probably list most of the songs cut--I was upset about all
of them because I like them all, but I didn't miss them in the
movie, if that makes sense.

Even worse, yes! He gets killed enough for three or four people in
ST.
What's great about the story is the first time, when the judge
doesn't get killed, the audience actually says, "Awww..." Because
you're so in Sweeney's pov that you can't help but be frustrated
that he doesn't get what he wants, even if you know he's a psycho.
I would bet Snape's death in the movie won't be too bad. The HP
films don't seem to gory. They didn't do Arthur's near-death by
snake fang that makes him bleed profusely.
