I think you're talking about text encoding, which I mentioned in
another post. I don't know how to check them in IE, but Firefox is
just like Netscape in that respect. Click View, then click Character
Encoding. A little black ball will mark your current setting. If it's
set on Unicode, I suggest changing it to Western.
