Magpie:
Given how James starts out, that's not a change. James was always the 
way he was while also hating Dark Magic. Either he didn't really need 
to be redeemed or he wasn't, imo, because he was always the same, 
personality-wise. 

-m (Who didn't think James needed to be redeemed particularly, which 
is lucky for him because iho the Potterverse is the Land that 
Redemption Forgot.)
