It's all in the presentation.
If he's to introduce the spotted dick maybe he could start by,
"I hear (Bully 1) and (Bully 2) would like some spotted dick..."
It's a three fold benefit:
1. The class will think he's funny and hold him in higher esteem
2. He takes back the night from the bullies thereby increasing the
esteem exponentially.
3. The bullies power decreases in the class and with your son.
The other benefit is he might reevaluate his decision to opt out of GT.
I hope the best for your son... (though the best may not actually be
in TG; the universe is funny)
