Your comment made me think about how sci-fi and fantasy books often
viewed by literary snobs as not "real" literature, not "serious" enough
literature, etc.
And of course I saw plenty of bad examples of such books, some of them
I finished, some of them I did not. But same holds true for "realistic"
fiction, me thinks. There are plenty of bad ones out there
unfortunately, so it just always made me wonder how the whole genre can
be condoned, you know?
It is an aside of course.
