Yeah, I've read all this when I did my research before posting. That's 
why I asked - I wasn't sure what JKR meant. I suppose the best way to 
find out would be to listen to the audiobooks - if she 
meant "gills", "gillywater" would me pronounced with "g", and if she 
meant the flower or something else, then the first letter would be 
pronounced like "j", right? But I only have the DH audiobook, and 
gillywater is not mentioned there ;-(.
