Magic." In fact, if the book you're quoting is in present tense, the
quotation must be in present tense.

I already responded to this in a another post. I did not realize the line
was part of dialogue and Hermione reading from another book. I don't recall
either of those things being mentioned in the book. Since I didn't memorize
every sentence in the 700 pager book, I didn't automatically recall from
reading it last nearly 2 years ago that it was Hermione reading from a book
in the book. And, I already posted that, and admitted that under that
completely different circumstance than what I was referring to it would not
be an issue.
