When we went to Azkatraz, when we went to the shopping mall food, I accidentally went to the Borders bookstore there and saw a hardcover of The Illustrated Brief History of Time and the Universe in a Nutshell was on sale way below cover price, so I bought it and started reading it. Then I bought the Lexicon book from Steve in the Dealer Room and started reading it. Then Tim bought me John Granger's book The Deathly Hallows lectures.
The Granger book was the most page-turner of the three - I stayed up all night reading it because I didn't want to stop. When I got home, I lent it to my friend and she liked it too.
Having finished that one, I resumed and finished reading the Lexicon book. It's a mixed bag. Some entries have new-to-me information. Some sent me off in long daydreams of fanfics I would write if writing were more enjoyable to me. Some were annoying, especially when my version of the Potterverse is better than Rowling's.
This week I resumed and finished reading The Illustrated Brief History of Time, so The Universe in a Nutshell is still before me.
