Geoff:
Just in passing, the standard UK comment will be along the lines 
of "I'll go and put the kettle on". There is even an old nursery rhyme 
which begins "Polly put the kettle on..."

Talking about things becoming redundant, Steve, your computer 
seems to persist in putting in umpteen unwanted "> >". I sent a 
lot of them off for an extra half day off when I wrote this reply. 
Perhaps a quiet word in the ear of your CPU?
