Well, I'm working through "The Selfless Gene: Living with God and Darwin"
by Charles Foster. I ought to warn you that he is a Christian as well as a
scientist but he casts a very analytical eye over the arguments of both the
neo-evolutionists such as Richard Dawkins and also the Young Earth
Creationists. You may recognise his book title as being a gentle dig at
Dawkins' "The Selfish Gene".
You may not agree with him but he has written some very thought-
provoking material about the first couple of chapters of Genesis in this
context.
