Oh, of course I know very well that you didn't mean it that way :-)! I hope we can leave the heads behind us :-). I only want to add that rudeness is often not in the words, but in the general tone - irritated, impatient and condescending. It sounds as if your reactions and your take on things are the right ones, and those who feel differently are, as you say, "bitching". You just don't notice how it comes out :-).

Our reactions are very individual, and we can't always control them. I have no idea why those heads make me react so strongly. I can't even look at them - when they are on TV, I have to close my eyes or leave the room. I find them disgusting, ugly, gross, and terrifying, and I can't even imagine how they can be seen as "comic relief" :-). I don't know what makes me feel this way - maybe some bad memory from another life, LOL?
