The association is actually strawberries. Nothing to do
with Tudor or Butterbeer, I'm not sure what your association
between Tudor and Wimbledon is. A keen tennis fan -
especially of the WimbledonOpen - would probably pick
up on the link.
I was commenting on the idea that Warner Brothers might
lay claim to real life foods. In the list at the first banquet,
strawberries are mentioned.
One of the highlights of Wimbledon fortnight which is often
the subject of comment in broadcast and reports is the
provision of strawberries and cream (usually grumbling
about their cost).
It came to mind because the school in which i taught for
30+ years used to supply ballboys (and later ballgirls) to
the tournament.
