Rupert and the ALLEGED Magic Spliff ... Redux

I hope people will forgive me for what amounts to gossip mongering, but it seems there is a photo floating around of allegedly Rupert Grint allegedly smoking pot.

We went through this once with Dan Radcliffe, and my reaction now is the same as my reaction then -

First, you don't know anything. What we have is a photo of a vaguely young vaguely red haired kid vaguely APPEARING to vaguely smoke a bong.

Second, so what? He's not robbing a bank. He's not robbing little old ladies of their purses. He is basically doing what everyone his age is doing, which is having a little fun. 

And, really, whether it is Rupert or not, is highly debatable. I'm guessing far more like it is simply a random vaguely red haired kid. 

Last, why does this matter? First, I don't believe it, but if we assume for sake of argument that it is true ... so what? 

Again, I realize I'm just fanning the flame by even mentioning it, but I just don't understand how and why this is news, or how and why we should care one way or the other? 

Though all that said, I'm not even convinced it is him.
